2024
The 2024 York Mets entered the Fall Classic in Bowmanville as the two-time Defending Champions. Having won the tournament the previous two years, this tournament would be another test for York Region's best talent. Once again they proved to be the top of the crop, a hard fought campaign earned them their third straight tournament Championship. Never before seen in the 20 year history of the tournament and truly a remarkable accomplishment for YRBL's top players. The 2024 team worked together, battled hard, and exemplified true sportsmanship and teamwork. The York Mets look forward to turning up again to enjoy another Fall Classic in 2025!
2023
The York Mets entered the 2023 Fall Classic Tounrmanet as Defending Champions. This year our talented roster of All-Stars would soar through the round robin and move on to edge the Clarington Cubs 4-2 in the Semi Final. Meeting Thornhill in the Championship game the Mets found themselves down 5-1 in the 5th inning, only to show their true character and follow with a historic comeback mercy win. Scoring 14 runs in the 6th inning to become the first ever back-to-back Champions in the 20-year history of the tournament. The York Mets will dive into the 2024 Fall Classic for their toughest test yet. See you in 2024!
2022
The York Mets travelled to Bowmanville for the 2022 Fall Classic.
Each year York Region Baseball provides a setting for top over-19 talent to perform at a high level throughout the Summer and into the Fall. This year our All-Stars always humbled by the game would go undefeated with a 5-0 record to take home their first Fall Classic Championship!
Congratulations to the star-studded Mets and Thank You to all our supporters, volounteers, umpires and tournament hosts over the weekend! We look forward to defending the title in 2023!
2021
The York Mets returned to fall baseball in Bownmanville and finished with an overall record of 2-1, congrats to the Mets on an outstanding effort. Thanks to all organizers and our fans who came out to support the team!
As it sometimes happens this time of year, the Playoffs unfortunately succumbed to the weather. We hope to crown a new champ in 2022!

2020
This year our York Mets were showcased in Markham in a flashback to our 2014 All-Star format! Restrictions due to COVID-19 meant the 2020 York Mets would not be particpating in Fall tournaments this year but are hopeful to be back in 2021!
We still enjoyed watching (on YouTube) these talented ball players in their Home setting! A selection of 22 players was split into two teams for the 2020 All-Star Game on September 25th. Thank you to the players and all who made it a success!
2019
The York Mets headed east to Port Hope and Clarington for the 2019 Fall Classic. The Mets would run themselves into a flamethrower to start the tournament however the bats would come alive. They finished the tournament winning their final game by mercy rule, leaving no inning spared narrowly missing the quarter-finals by a run differential of 2.
Thank you to the organizers, officials, all teams, and our Mets for their commitment over the weekend!

2018
The 2018 All-Stars travel to Clarington to compete in the Brooklyn-Whitby Fall Classic on Sept 29 & 30.
The Mets then head down the road to our neighbours in Scarborough from Oct 11 to 14, participating as one of four inaugural teams in a First Annual tournament at Wishing Well Park involving local Senior A leagues. Good luck to our York Mets in 2019!
2017
Our York Mets played hard in this year's Fall Classic, with some amazing defense and arguably the best offense in the tournament the Mets did all they could with a win and a tie, narrowly missing the semi-final via run differential.
It was truly a star-studded team and proud showing by the Mets.

2016
The York Mets traveled to Clarington and Port Hope to compete in this years' Brooklyn-Whitby Fall Classic. An early Saturday morning start in Port Hope shortened the bench but the Mets came out strong finishing the tournament against Montreal in cold and rainy weather.
Looking forward to better weather and putting more wins on the board in 2017!
2015
In 2015 the league's All-Star format evolved from a traditional two-team structure into one roster that would compete in the Fall. The inaugural "York Mets" made an impactful debut going 3-0 in their division at the Brooklyn Whitby Fall Classic reaching the semi-finals.
The Mets also went on to win a hosted friendly against NewmarketMBL at Stewart Burnett Park.
